Each Aavegotchi is backed financially by Tokens (ERC-20 tokens) known as Spirit Force. The number of aTokens staked to an Aavegotchi determines the amount of Spirit Force. These aTokens earn interest in real-time, which is promptly sent to the owner’s crypto wallet — in other words, Spirit Force generates a yield via Aave’s lending protocol and sends it to the user.

Wearables are also NFTs (ERC-998 tokens) made by the creators and their own artist community. Weapons, pajamas, sushi, Santa, rasta, and partnership sets are just a few examples of wearables.

Virtual land
The Gotchiverse is separated into parcels of virtual land, allowing gamers to own sections of the Gotchiverse.
