Beast Axie Cards Explained for Beginners: In terms of play-to-earn games, Axie Infinity is hard to beat. It has a wide range of engaging elements. Because there are more than 130 cards in the Axie Infinity game, each representing a different class of Axie, it might be difficult to learn how to play the game the first time around without first being well-versed in all of the cards.

To help you better understand how these cards work, we’ve taken the effort to categorize them into distinct Tiers and provide detailed descriptions of their abilities in the accompanying blog post.

What is Axie Infinity

Axie Infinity is a non-fungible token-based online video game developed by Vietnamese studio Sky Mavis, known for its in-game economy which uses Ethereum-based cryptocurrencies. Players of Axie Infinity collect and mint NFTs which represent axolotl-inspired digital pets known as Axies.

We’ve made a complete Review of the Axie infinity game where we took out time to explain what the game represents and also answered many related questions. Quickly Read More About The Axie Infinity Game Review Here

Beast Axie Card Attributes

There are 4 stats in the game, Health, Morale, Skill, and Speed.

Health: The amount of damage your Axie can take before being defeated.

Morale: Morale increases critical strike chance. It also makes entering the last stand more likely and adds more last stand “ticks”.

Skill: Skill adds damage when an Axie plays multiple cards at once (combo). The extra damage is calculated like this:
Card attack * ( skill * 0.55-12.25 ) / 100 * 985

Speed: Speed determines turn order. Faster Axies attack first. Speed also decreases an Axie’s chance of being the victim of a critical strike. If two Axies have the same speed, this is how to attack order is determined: High speed > Low HP > High Skill > High Morale > Low Fighter ID.

An Axie’s stats are dependent on two variables: its class and its body parts. For instance, the base stats of an Aquatic Axie (body) are 39 HP, 39 Speed, 35 Skill, and 27 Morale. Each card will add stats based on the type:

Aquatic: +3 Speed, +1 HP

Beast: +3 Morale, +1 Speed

Bird: +3 Speed, +1 Morale

Bug: +3 Morale, +1 HP

Plant: +3 HP, +1 Morale

Reptile: +3 HP, +1 Speed

An Axie is a ‘pure breed’ when its class and all of its body parts are of the same type. The ‘pureness’ of the Axie can be set as a filter on the Axie Marketplace, ranging from 1 to 6 body parts that are the same type as the selected class.
