Do you want to connect your Coinbase Wallet to Metamask? You’ve come to the right place. The Coinbase Wallet allows users to store both cryptocurrencies and NFTs in one location. It also allows them to swap in DEXs and access the DeFi liquidity pools. The Metamask Wallet is also a great cryptocurrency wallet, but if for some reason you want to connect them, then follow these 2 simple ways and get it done as soon as possible.
How To Connect Your Coinbase Wallet To Metamask
There are two different ways to connect your Coinbase Wallet to Metamask:
- Via your recovery phrase
- Via Private keys
Copy the 12-word recovery phrase/ seed phrase from your Coinbase Wallet and paste it into your MetaMask wallet to import the Coinbase Wallet.
Alternatively, you can use the private key to import the Coinbase Wallet into MetaMask. This can be used to recover crypto that was sent to the incorrect public address. However, access to the Coinbase Wallet’s private key is not provided.
Hence, to generate private keys, we need to rely on a third-party open-source website: https://iancoleman.io/bip39/. (Do this at your own risk)
